RiscFree™ is Ashling’s Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and Debugger for Arm based development. Features include: IDE based on Eclipse with full source and project creation, editing, build and debug support.  Integrated GCC and/or LLVM compiler toolchains.  Full support for all Arm 32-bit and 64-bit Cortex devices using CoreSight debug and trace technologies.   Heterogeneous and homogeneous debug support for multi-core SoCs sharing a single debug interface (e.g. via JTAG or Serial Wire Debug (SWD).

Ultra-XD is a powerful high-speed trace and run-time control debug probe for embedded development on Synopsys’ DesignWare ARC configurable RISC cores with the Real-time Trace extensions (RTT).     Ashling's OPELLA-XD is a powerful cJTAG/JTAG debug probe for embedded development with Synopsys' DesignWare ARC™ configurable RISC cores. Developed in cooperation with Synopsys, the Opella-XD probe integrates with the MetaWare or GNU GDB Debuggers under Windows or Linux based hosts.

    Ashling provides a range of tools designed to allow debugging, program-execution analysis, optimisation and validation of applications running on NXP Contact and Contactless SmartCard SmartMX (P5) and SmartMX2 (P60) families.
  • Opella-XD for MIPS
    Ashling’s Opella-XD is a powerful JTAG debug probe for embedded development on MIPS™ RISC cores. Opella-XD works with Ashling’s Eclipse based PathFinder-XD debugger and the open-source GDB based debugger and Eclipse CDT.

    PathFinder-XD supports all third party MIPS C/C++ compilers, has target flash programming support for a broad ange of devices, multiple user-configurable windows, Embedded Linux debugging support and a built-in script language. PathFinder-XD runs on Linux x86 and Windows™ XP/Vista/7 hosts.
  • Opella-XD for ARM
    Ashling’s Opella-XD is a powerful JTAG debug probe for embedded development on ARM™ RISC cores.

    Opella-XD works with Ashling’s PathFinder debugger and third-party debuggers, such as ARM’s RealView, Keil uVision and IAR’s Embedded Workbench. A GDB Server driver is also provided allowing Opella-XD to work with the open-source GDB based debugger and Eclipse CDT.
  • VITRA-PPC Trace Probe for NXP Power Architecture
    Ashling’s Vitra-PPC Emulator is a powerful networked Emulation and Trace system for embedded development with Freescale’s PowerPC RISC cores, using the NEXUS 5001™ on-chip debug interface.

    Vitra debugging is completely non-intrusive and requires no target system resources. Together with Ashling’s PathFinder source-level debugger, Vitra provides powerful run/stop control of embedded software, with hardware and software breakpoints. Vitra provides fast code download to the target system, and allows control and interrogation of all core-processor and system resources.

    Vitra incorporates high speed Ethernet, USB and serial connections to the host PC.

    Vitra provides full Instruction Trace and Data Trace using the NEXUS 5001™ standard on-chip debug interface.

    Vitra also supports Freescale’s MPC555 automotive/industrial-control microprocessor, using the PowerPC BDM debug interface.

    Vitra provides Flash Programming for On-Chip MPC5xx/MPC55xx and external Flash memory.

    As an active participant in the Nexus 5001 Forum, Ashling has worked with Freescale to produce Emulator and Real-time Trace systems for Freescale’s MPC55xx, MPC56x and MPC555 automotive microprocessor families, the first microprocessors to incorporate the NEXUS 5001™ Global Embedded Processor Debug Interface.
